RAGE Prop

This is the new "RAGE" prop, which is a custom project that I did for Rogues Hollow Productions. The mask is not permanently attached to the neck so that it can be adjusted as desired. For example, the head can be slightly tilted to one side or the other. The specifications are as follows:
- Prop stands approximately 6' 4" (76 inches) tall.
- Thick latex mask with "blacked-out" eyes
- Extra-thick cast latex hands with highly detailed, multi-layered paint scheme
- Seperate neck piece painted to match the hands.
- Solid, rigid plastic butcher knife w/ 12" blade
- Weathered jumpsuit with subtle blood stains and combat boots
- Flat black base with support structure hidden within the legs
Please contact me if you have any questions or comments about this project.

CUSTOM PROP - Trick R Treat

Aside from the current lineup of characters, Beyond the Grave Productions also specializes in custom work. Thornhill Woods Haunted House in Ontario,Canada comissioned me to produce a "SAM" character based on the up-coming DVD film, "Trick R Treat." This prop stands approximately 45" tall and is proportioned according to a 6-year-old. The frame is rigid and the body is cast in the same urethane foam as the body forms. All of the stitching on the burlap is done by hand as well as the costume, which is permanently sewn to the body. Overall, it was a unique challenge that might inspire new things to come...
If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact me.

Great Lakes Fright Fest, May 2009
Congratulations DUSTY LIBSTORFF!!!
For the past 2 years, Beyond the Grave Productions has been sponsoring the Great Lakes Fright Fest by donating full body props. This year's raffle winner of DEAD FRED was Dusty Libstorff. This event is an excellent opportunity to meet other professionals and enthusiasts in a very welcoming and enjoyable setting - thanks to the wonderful hosts: Karen (aka Krazy Karen) and Brian Taylor. It is one of the few places you can participate in creating a room for a haunted house, which is open on Saturday night of the event. Not to mention, there's always tons of great food and good times. If you're in the area during the end of May or the first weekend of June (pending dates), then it is always well worth the visit. Most significantly, this is a haunter's gathering that supports both local food banks as well as the Monroe Humane Society of Michigan.

NEW Mask - RAGE

This is a mutual project that both Jeff Wehenkel and I worked on back in January. Jeff initiated the sculpture, and I did the final detail sculpting on the entire piece. We both put a lot of time and effort into creating this tribute to one of our favorite characters of all time. This mask is cast thick and is ideal for display. Both wearable and alternate versions will be available very soon. A full size prop is in the works as well.
